Birth & Postnatal Coaching - run over one weekend
Our next weekend is March 17th & 18th 2012. Bookings NOW being taken.
Group classes are run over a weekend session, lasting seven hours per day, during which we are able to give you all the essential coaching you will need. These classes are particularly useful for busy working couples, or individuals, who would prefer to learn all the information they will need in one concentrated weekend, rather than attend a number of shorter evening classes spread out over a period of months.
Our groups are informal, relaxed and empowering. We use a variety of teaching styles to suit all learning types, including group discussion, smaller group work and practical skills sessions to prepare you for labour, birth and early parenting.
Our classes are always small and comfortable. The venue is YogaNature in Wootton, Nr Canterbury within easy reach of Ashford, Canterbury, Dover & Folkestone. You will have the opportunity to chat with other couples on the course and start to build those all important friendships that help you adjust to this new and exciting stage of being a parent.
The weekends are facilitated by Geraldine Watson and Angie Twydall.
Geraldine is recognised birth doula and postnatal doula, researcher into maternity support methods in Europe and lay assessor for maternity services at the School of Medicine, Southampton University.
Angie is an experienced Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher, complementary therapist, and recognised birth doula.
